August seems almost a bit like January for me – it is a fresh start. We’re back to school this week, so I’m taking some time to get my office back in order. I’m treating myself to fresh glasses full of lepens and a stack of new tablets.
At the shop, we’ve been putting together little gifts for new teachers with tablets, pens, pencils and notebooks. So often we are coming up with these “little somethings” at the shop for hostess gifts, birthdays, neighbors, but I forget to share those ideas here.
If we’ve learned anything at the shop, it’s everything looks better in a Cello Bag. We go through so many. It is amazing how a Cello Bag, Tag & Ribbon turns something normal into a gift. I always keep a stash at home to create little gifts. We’ve added a tea towel to this tablet here, great for a hostess gift.
Our scented candles made into a gift with a Large Cello Bag + Ribbon (Antique Gold Satin) + Tag. We always have them pre-wrapped at the shop for easy gifts and they fly out the door.
Love this stack of goodies – a Notebook, Short Tablet and Grey LePen all tied with a thin velvet ribbon (all available here).
This is such a nice gift and about $10, which is perfect for that little something to give.
I’m big on giving things that can be used up and go away – like tablets, pens and candles. When you give a gift, it shouldn’t be a burden on the recipient. They shouldn’t need to find a permanent home for it. I always give consumables like food or wine, or things like these that will be used up and go away.
