My Granny used to put up peaches every summer, then serve them for brunch of Christmas morning. There is nothing better than tasting a summer afternoon in the middle of winter. Now my Mom continues the tradition (but in abundance… and serves peaches all year long). We use her peaches in our smoothies, but frozen peaches from the grocery store is a *good* substitute. These taste so good with homemade Breakfast Biscuit Sandwiches.
Orange, Banana & Peach Smoothies
2 cups of frozen peaches
1 banana
2 cups of orange juice
Blend until smooth. Add more OJ if it is too thick, and add more banana if it is too thin.
