Heart Chocolate Molten Cakes

Silicone Heart Mold, $12

Heart Chocolate Molten Cakes
makes 8 small cakes

6 ounces chocolate chips
6 tablespoons of butter
1/4 cup of milk or cream
3 tablespoons of sugar
4 tablespoons of flour
2 eggs

In a glass measuring cup, melt together chocolate chips and butter in the microwave for about 1 1/2 minutes, then 30 more seconds at a time until melted. Add cream, stir until smooth. Add sugar, flour and eggs, stir until smooth.

Place molds on a baking sheet. Pour batter into molds filling almost to the top. Chill in the freezer for 1 hour.

Silicone Heart Mold, $12

Bake at 425 for 10-12 minutes, or just until tops look done, but not too puffed. Remove from oven and set for 5 minutes. Place a parchment lined baking sheet on top of the hearts and flip to invert. Remove silicone mold and let hearts remain on sheet pan. Serve warm! If making in advance (which is takes pressure off the flipping!), place in the freezer, then re-heat in the microwave.
