Mother’s Day Menu Ideas

I love hosting. As a “doer” I’m most comfortable making or doing something, it is my way of showering people I care about with affection. Even just the whisper of an occasion gets my brain humming with menu ideas and table settings, but mostly I love that special feeling when you gather your people around the table, the patio or the kitchen island. It is my favorite.

I especially love Mother’s Day because we can have a table set with pretty, feminine flowers and linens and serve berries and lobster and girly cocktails without apology. Here are some of my favorite spring menus for any shower, birthday or occasion.
