At the beginning of every season I spend a some long days turning the shop over. It always starts as a disaster with much frustration trying to get the vision of the collection to come to life. Then as the pillows are filled, the flowers brought in it starts to feel a little special. I can sense it from our customers as they come in, too. When it is a true disaster I always apologize for our messy process, but after a few hours in, people start to get excited and my favorite – gasp – as they are welcomed in to the cozy shop that feels like and smells like *spring* (or Christmas… or Fall) usually a couple weeks before the season has actually started.
