Our Favorite Grilled Steak Marinade

Sweet & Savory Steaks on the Grill

Steaks : Strips or Ribeyes are best on the grill. We use this marinade for flank steaks, as well.

Sea Salt

2 cloves of garlic, minced

2 tablespoons of olive oil

2 tablespoons of brown sugar

2 tablespoons of soy sauce

fresh thyme leaves

Season steaks : Sprinkle with sea salt.

Marinade : Mix together marinade in a shallow bowl or casserole dish (if making multiple).

Add steaks to the marinade, turning once to coat and put in the refrigerator for 10 minutes – 4 hours.

Start grill and pre-heat for 5 minutes. Grill steaks for 2-4 minutes on each side, depending on thickness. Cook until 125 degrees internal temp on a meat thermometer. Remove and let rest on a plate for 10 minutes, then trim and slice.
